Concessions & Discounts
Venue Cymru and Theatr Colwyn are committed to making tickets as affordable as possible for as many people as possible. We offer reduced price tickets which are available at selected performances for:
- Under 16s
- Over 60s
We also offer free tickets to companions of customers who are unable to attend alone – find out more.
When available, concessions are limited by performance, date, time and seating area. They may be withdrawn at any time and are subject to availability. Proof of eligibility will be required upon ticket collection.
From time to time Venue Cymru / Theatr Colwyn run special offers/discounts for customers on the mailing list. Again they may be withdrawn at any time and are subject to availability. Offers/discounts can not be redeemed against tickets already purchased and can not be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.
Postage & Collection of tickets
Currently the ticket office at Venue Cymru remains closed therefore when you book a ticket over the phone or online we can issue e-tickets only.
Tickets can be paid for by cheque, postal order, credit or debit card. Please make cheques payable to Conwy County Borough Council. Personal cheques will not be accepted within 10 days of the performance.
A £2 administration fee and £1 theatre restoration levy is payable per ticket on all payment methods. All arena concert events are subject to a gig fee per ticket regardless of payment method and varies from event to event. Fees are non-refundable.
The £1 theatre restoration levy is added to each ticket sold in order to maintain our building, meet running costs and improve the services we offer. This is included in the published price.
Babes in Arms Policy
On the majority of productions children aged 2 and under are not required to purchase a ticket provided they sit on a parent/guardians knee. Certain visiting companies will stipulate their own policy which differs to ours, if this is the case it will be clearly indicated on the event page prior to booking.
Working with Booking Protect we offer protection on ticket purchases which covers you should you not be able to attend for example due to illness, emergency or injury. Booking Protect is offered at the point of sale in person, over the phone, and now online. It can also be bought up to 7 days after an online booking via our box office. For more information call 01492 872000.
If you have purchased protection you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the full terms and conditions which includes how to make a claim should you need to. Please ensure you read this information fully at the time of purchase.
The Booking Protect Terms and Conditions can also be found here - https://documents.bookingprotect.com/terms-and-conditions.pdf. This document is hosted on the Booking Protect website.
