Llandudno benefits from being a friendly and safe environment where event delegates report feeling at ease walking round the town at night. The town has recently been assessed by the Association for Town and City Management for Purple Flag status (awarded to destinations that can demonstrate a safe and vibrant evening and night-time economy).
Venue Cymru falls within the Enhanced Tier of the Protection of Premise Act (Martyn’s Law) and ongoing staff training, extensive CCTV coverage and robust security procedures all contribute to ensuring the building will be fully compliant.
At Venue Cymru we do not have a ‘one size fits all’ approach to event security but will tailor a range of security measures to be appropriate and proportionate for your event. Your Event Account Manager will discuss this with you over the planning progress and security needs will be risk assessed in line with the information you provide and background threat levels.
