Our volunteer ushers perform a vital role as the public face of Venue Cymru during our performances and events, ensuring that our patrons have a positive, enjoyable and safe experience whether this be on site, or at external events we run.
I feel it is a privilege to be an Usher at Venue Cymru, welcoming our visitors with a smile, and helping them to have a positive experience in the theatre, as well as seeing many super shows, and gaining so many new friends!

Become a volunteer steward
Our volunteer stewards perform a vital role as the public face of Venue Cymru during our performances and events, ensuring that our patrons have a positive, enjoyable and safe experience whether this be on site, or at external events we run.
It should be noted before applying to become a volunteer steward that:
- There is a minimum requirement of attendance expected
- Credit Card payments & cash handling is required
- Using the stairs to all levels of the venue
- Working in the circle will be required (at height).
Stewards are required to work a minimum of four shows per month and to be flexible with their availability as our programme is made up of matinee performances as well as evenings.
Our programme is very varied, and you will get the opportunity to experience live theatre and genres of live production that you have possibly never experienced before.
