Monty Python & The Holy Grail Sing-A-Long (12A)
with Special Guest Michael Palin Live in Conversation
One Night Only, an exclusive event to Colwyn Bay
This is a fundraising event for A Python On The Prom campaign, run by Sally and Bill Jones and Conwy Arts Trust (Registered Charity Number 1161120).
We are thrilled to announce that Michael Palin will be joining us at Theatr Colwyn for an hour-long ‘In Conversation’, before the film screening.
Michael will talk about the making of Holy Grail, the Python years, and his friendship and working partnership with the film’s co-director, the late Terry Jones, who was born in Colwyn Bay and was Patron of Theatr Colwyn for many years.
We’ll be having a bit of a Python day in the town on 5 September and Michael will be making a very special announcement. It’s very hush, hush for now, but all will be revealed on the night (and there’s a big clue on this page!).
About The Film
Climb upon your invisible horse, prepare the clip-clop coconuts and join King Arthur and his trusty servant Patsy, on their quest to find the Holy Grail, at this very special sing-a-long screening!
One of the funniest films ever made, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is also one of the most quotable films of all time and we really don’t mind if you join in with the non-singing bits, too.
We’d love it if you came along in fancy dress - maybe you want to be a Knight who says Ni! Sir Bedvedere the Wise, Dennis the Mud Farmer, or even the Killer Rabbit!
*** Please be aware the 'In Conversation' section of the evening will be filmed by a documentary crew
