Educational Workshops
Because we believe it is important for our young audience that we develop our educational programme, Venue Cymru has formed partnerships with a diverse array of art organisations.
In co-operation with artists as well as production companies like Welsh National Opera and Rambert Dance Company or the National Theatre London we are offering exciting school workshops that combine elements of theatre with artistic expression; Using current and forthcoming performances and the theatre itself as inspiration the students will be given the opportunity to create imaginative and adventurous artwork.

Destination Tsunami Exhibition at Venue Cymru
7 - 31 August
This powerful exhibition paints a vivid picture of the human and environmental costs of tourism development in two Indian states - Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It focuses on the experience of coastal communities affected by commercial and government purchase of beach front land and ensuing hotel and second home construction.
THE EXHIBITION CONTAINS STIMULATING MATERIAL TO ENGAGE AND INSPIRE LEARNERS STUDYING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING THEMES IN THE 14 - 19 CURRICULUM:
